DINE OUT ON SEPT 26

SUPPORT LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND GIVE BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY

Dining Out For Life is a one-day, community-wide dining fundraiser, presented by BECU. On this day, participating restaurants donate a portion of their sales to Lifelong, and diners at these restaurants can make donations directly to Lifelong. This event is crucial to raise funds to support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and aligns with Lifelong’s mission to improve health with compassion.

Are you a Restaurant who wants to participate in this year’s event?

Every year, Dining Out For Life draws thousands of patrons to support Lifelong.

Don’t miss your chance to get involved and join a prestigious network of like-minded restaurateurs.

Sign up before September 9 to receive all restaurant partner benefits!

Questions? Please reach out to our Corporate Engagement Manager, Jeremy Orbe, at JeremyO@Lifelong.org.

WANT TO MAKE AN EVEN BIGGER IMPACT?
BECOME A RESTAURANT AMBASSADOR!

To make this event a success, we are seeking Volunteer Restaurant Ambassadors to promote the event to your network and serve as a Lifelong representative on September 26.

Here’s How It Works:

  • Restaurant Assignment: You’ll be matched with a participating restaurant.

  • Spread the Word: Share event details and invite friends, family, and colleagues to join you at your assigned restaurant.

  • Day-of Activities: On the event day, greet diners, distribute information about Lifelong (including donation options), and thank them for their support. You can volunteer solo, in pairs, or in small groups.

Lifelong will provide training for Restaurant Ambassadors, including talking points, sample social media posts, and invitation templates to share with your network. We’ll also host a kick-off event at one of our participating restaurants for all confirmed Restaurant Ambassadors in early September!

If you’re interested in learning more about Dining Out For Life or becoming a Restaurant Ambassador, please reach out to our Corporate Engagement Manager, Jeremy Orbe at JeremyO@Lifelong.org

Health disparities remain at an all-time high in our state, as COVID, housing and food costs, and barriers to health have disproportionately affected those living with serious and life-challenging illnesses.

Lifelong addresses the broken systems that lead to a person’s health challenges – our wrap-around model of care helps ensure people have access to food and nutrition, housing, care and support, and other critical services to live their healthiest lives.

In 2023, Lifelong delivered 300,000 medically-tailored meals and 50,000 culturally specific grocery bags. We anticipate an even higher increase in 2024 and beyond due to the continued need for nutritious food.
